Today is Anzac Day. It is a holiday in Australia. This day is a time of acknowledging the heros who gave the ultimate price for this amazing country. During the day my thoughts focused on the sacrifices made by these courageous men and women and I became teary. Other times I was filled with pride remembering the fighting spirit of these unselfish people.
I often think of how I can repay them for their devotion to freedom and willingness to defend our shores. What would I say to them and how could I be a reponsible Australian to maintain their sense of honour while defending our shores. I suppose all I can do is say “thank you” on a day like today and choose to live the best life possible. What will you do?

Greetings fellow contributors,
Over the past couple of months we have been inundated with the daily progress of the McCartney-v-Mills tale. Our omniscient perspective of the unfolding of their tangled lives has been intrusive, to say the least. It is not very often that I become involved with sensationalised media reporting but I must admit that I have trolled internet for the latest news breaking on this high profile couple.
In the Major Arcana the Death card represents endings and beginnings. Sure with the divine process of the Death there is grief and eventually a letting go. After the devastation of the forest fire the new shoots appear on a barren landscape and life once again appears. I’ve decided that I would allow Sir Paul to experience the joy of rebirth and for me not to be an unwelcome intruder into his life.
A trickle of rain on a desolate landscape brings optimism. It is not that I want to rain on his parade but offer the green shoots of solace and hope. Sir Paul has proven time and time again that he is a survivor and I am confident that he will lift up his head and walk proudly toward and new and creative future. From today I trust that the Death card is turned over and the Magician appears.
Love and Peace,

Hi everyone,
Warning: This is a total b***ch session!!
I’ve just finished reading the Sunday paper. When I reached reading the section on World News I was shocked and horrified to read that Kate and Zara had worn the same hat to the races the other day. Oh! My God! What were they thinking? Don’t they realise how that can shift the world economy? Or don’t they realise that people everywhere will be pulling out their life saving IV’s in dismay!
Then I turned the page and some journalist was saying, the hot Hollywood screen Goddess, Lindsay Lohan, can’t make it to Sydney for some award ceremony - oh please - where in the history of Goddesses does it state that you have to be a skinny, no-talent drug addict. I don’t know any Goddesses like that do you? Where are we setting our benchmark? On prossie lane? Give me a break!
Then to top it off on the back cover there were pictures of some socialite from somewhere in America (care factor: zero) who was standing outside a building in Sydney and the caption said something like: a touch of Hollywood has come to town. I thought that were shooting pictures of Kings Cross.
The cherry on my newspaper reading cake was the quote by Australian ex-footballer now thug (aka: woman basher), Wayne Carey, “I’m addicted to coccaine!” If I read about another self-confessed drug addict footballer coming clean I am going to puke. Do they honestly think that if they admit their addictions they will be vindicated. I don’t think so! If they were living in the real world they would be getting a striped suntan - not a cafe latte to go!
Enough rant! Have a happy Sunday

Hey guys. Just read the latest edition of your eZine (http://www.jestacom.biz/ezines/index.html) and it’s the best yet! Missed the green backpack adventures though - where is he? Loved the smick addition of your movie. Is that “Judge Chardy” walking down the path behind the main characters? Keep up the great work.

We are now in 2008 and it is time to expand our circle of friends. 2007 was a huge growth year for me and this year is a time to take that knowledge into the world and connect with some new friends. My site is www.jestaCom. biz and I love to write. Techo and I are environmentalists at heart and therefore publish our books in e-book format as we are aware of the impact of the constant culling of trees. Our monthly E-zine was established to promote poets and other creative and vocal friends and family. Drop by anytime and certainly make your presence felt with some comments to our blog. Enjoy the dance of life!
