The Other Side of the Sea Change
Leaving Sydney was not hard. It's lovely place if you don't want to go anywhere. But if you want to venture out for a change of scenery, or try the unthinkable such as getting to work on time, it's a horrible place. Blocked roads, expensive tolls, crowds and nowhere to park when you get there. No thanks.
So we left and went to the beautiful country outside Coffs Harbour. There we found tree frogs, streams, dams, waterlilies, tortoises, brush turkeys, wallabies and an amazing array of wild bird life. The country was lush and green, even in the drought, and roadside stalls have honour boxes where you deposit your money to buy the local produce.
