What We've Been Up To In February
February has come and gone! We must have blinked! The Harlequin & Guru spent a very pleasant 8 days in Forster NSW, swimming near the dolphins, fishing (or was that just feeding the fish?) and generally relaxing.
"Marge" has been submitted to the Snowy and Home Grown film festivals so this means we can't give you a download of  it - not even parts of  it.
We have seen parts of this year's Tropfest winner and prefer to make no comment as to it's artistic merits. The Tropfest judges have judged it to be the best out of over 700 short films and while we think that animated films have a place in film, we do believe there should be separate categories.
Judge Charlene has a cracking wit and an intellect to match.  She presided over important legal matters for many years offering her sage advice to both sides of the adversarial bench.  She was a highly respected advocate for truth until…  Now she lives by her wits and her home is the Territory where she free offers insight for those who are less fortunate than her.  If you wish to seek her counsel please write to her here.  You may be surprised at her guidance.
All answers are not meant as serious advice - simply satirical.
Any legal opinions, medical advice, relationship advice etc. are NOT to be taken seriously.
Dear Judge Chardy,
I am a separated male being harassed by my ex. I have been offered a hitman for $5,000 - in the right letter box. Should I follow through? What are my chances of getting off on  "Justifiable Homicide"?
Chopper
Chopper, my very good friend! I don't have a letterbox at the moment, but you could leave the five grand in an old sports bag under the 3rd park bench on the left along the bike path in Commonwealth Park on the 1st of April.
On the subject of Justifiable Homicide - I don't think any homicide is justifiable but sometimes necessary. It certainly sends a message! Pity the victim doesn't get a chance to hear that message. Just change your name and run away with a new woman .  .  .  By the way, are you ugly? How much do you earn? I'll be on the 3rd park bench . . . .  Get the picture?
