Vancouver Harbour Beckons
The harbour lights are welcoming as we enter our final vestige. We are in the process of docking and instructions have been put across the loud speaker. Disembarkation will take place in phases and each person will be given a letter and a number and must wait for their turn. I look at my Mistress and she has sadness around her I want to reach out and comfort her but I can only bulge with pride as I sit waiting on the sofa for our trek down the gangway.
Lines of weary travellers follow instructions for Custom’s declarations and prepare to be herded into lines across the jetty. A quick Taxi ride back to the Motel and once again I am slumped on to the couch. Tomorrow is a Vancouver City day and then on Sunday morning we are boarding the next moving experience - the Rocky Mountaineer - the train ride of a life time! Stay tuned folks or should I say, All Aboard!
