shine.  Capricorns toil all of their lives for security and work tirelessly toward their goals.  So before the party mood takes hold - continue to keep the practical issues on your agenda.

The Full Moon is December 13, 2:2:37am AEST 21 Degrees Gemini. There is a lot of concern around this full moon - there is the potential for a lot of people getting shaken up and darn well stirred - so please be careful.  Passionate Mars stays close to the Sun and is again influential at this Full Moon.  Even though the Full Moon in Gemini demands facts, details and knowledge, the Sagittarian Mars/Sun energy loves to impulsively chase a dream based purely on inspiration.  It's time for big dreams and exciting plans.  Do you spend too long considering the facts before making a move, thereby missing the most opportune moment?  Or is your short coming more about acting first and thinking later?  Whatever extreme you area, this Full Mon suggests exploring another perspective.

If you are in a party hard frame of mind all month and want to have a little respite (especially if you are concerned about that flirtatious entanglement) or if you have been slouching around the office instead of putting in the hard work this New Moon is perfect for you to set some new work practices.  The New Moon is December 27, 10:22pm AEST 6 Degrees Capricorn.  As the calendar year ends, a new astrological era begins.  The New Moon in Capricorn is joined by Mars and Pluto.  Mars and Pluto share themes of power and control, intensity and transformation, and together they mark the start of Pluto's 17 year journey through Capricorn.  The area of life this New Moon triggers for you will be one that undergoes major change in the coming months and years.  Old structures can now be reworked so you dance more authentically in the world.

If you are following the New Moon wish list here are some areas you might like to consider on this auspicious time:

o        Handling responsibility
o        Reaching goals
o        Success and recognition
o        Management skills authority figures
o        Releasing controlling tendacies
o        Self discipline
o        Keeping commitments
o        Competency
o        Public image
o        Retirement

Dearest Jem Star,

Wow! Jem what an amazing November you've had!  How delightful?  It is so gratifying to re-connect with family and once again feel a part of your tribe.  Although sometimes I wonder - what is my connection to these souls and how did I end up here - eventually I realize just how blessed I am to have been born into a family who is loving, forgiving and have such great senses of humour.

Like you, my November was full throttle down the highway family and commitment.  I had a visit to Sydney to visit with family - wonderful and rejuvenating. I caught up with my Mum who is grieving the loss of her soul mate and best buddy.  We went over to my son's place and visited with my grandsons - now that really keeps you in the moment!

The next weekend was Techo's birthday and our anniversary and we opted for a romantic retreat in the mountains.  It was a gorgeous little colonial cottage - very rustic and delightfully decorated.  We lived among the wild animals of that region for the weekend and came back totally inspired.

The final weekend of November was a quick trip to Coffs Harbour.  I went up there to put our former haven on the market.  It is time to sell and take the proceeds and build a stronger foundation for the future.  At the moment there is a tenant in there renting.  I was disappointed with the presentation of the home but still it is a magnificent residence and I am positive that it will sell for a good price.

The weekend to Coffs began with two plane trips in stormy weather.  Both of the flights were bumpy and I was surprisingly calm in the midst of the storm.  Sure there were moments when I thought, "How do these planes stay up in the air?" but for the most part I felt comfortable and safe.

I did not connect with many people from my past that weekend.  I chose instead to keep it simple and stay with one person.  Her place is on the River and we ate, swam and chatted the weekend away.  I must admit I went a little over board on the retail therapy (which was awesome!) however, as you know I've had to recycle a lot of my clothes over this past year and well, we must always replace them, now mustn't we?
